WEEK NINE
\n<\/strong> TOPIC\u2014FIELD EVENTS
\n<\/strong>Field events are the events which involve the throwing and throwing on the field where the height cleared and distance covered are measure to determine a winner.
\nField events can be grouped two:<\/p>\n

  1. \n
    THE THROWS: are all the events which involve the throwing of some implements for distance. These implements are called missiles.\n<\/div>\n

    Examples of throwing events are the followings;\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      Shot put event\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n
    2. \n
      Discus event\n<\/div>\n

      iii. Hammer event
      \niv. Javelin event<\/p>\n

        THE JUMPS: are the events that involve jumping for height over a raised object or jumping for distance from a marked spot on a flat surface into a demarcated pit.\n<\/div>\n

          Long jump\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n
        2. \n
          Triple jump\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n

              Any throw taken outside the throwing sector is a foul\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n

              The throwers are allowed to throw three times\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n
            4. \n
              All throwers must commerce action only inside the circle or scratch line\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n
            5. \n
              All throws must be thrown into one direction\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n
