In some English vowels, it is not easy to identify consonant cluster by merely looking at the written form of the word. Such words manifest the cluster only when they are pronounced. E.g<br \/>\n* I am going to lagos<br \/>\n* Daniel is writing a letter<br \/>\n*Nneka is insulting her friend.<br \/>\n* Yakubu is dancing.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<strong>THE PRESENT PERFECT TENSE.<br \/>\n<\/strong>It shows that a past activity is closely or almost joined to the present. Example<br \/>\n*She has written a letter.<br \/>\n* We have waited for four hours<br \/>\n*They have gone to the market <\/p>\n<p>\u00a0D.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0THE PRESENT PERFECT CONTINOUS TENSE<br \/>\nIt shows that activities which began in the past have been going on until the present. Example<br \/>\n*Mercy wrote a letter to her friend yesterday.<br \/>\n*Onyinyechi did her home work last week.<br \/>\n*Last year, Philip spent his holiday in Abuja.<br \/>\nF.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0THE PAST CONTINOUS TENSE: It is used when we want to show that two \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0actions simultaneous.<br \/>\nExamples:<br \/>\n*Kemi was singing while her friend was dancing.<br \/>\n*Mrs Oseni was cooking while her daughter was washing was washing plates and cups.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0G.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0THE PAST PERFECT TENSE: Shows that an event took place before \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0another event in the past. Example<br \/>\n* The basket ball match had begun when Samuel and James arrived.<br \/>\n* The train had left before he had read most of the History text books<br \/>\nH.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0THE PAST PERFECT CONTINOUS TENSE: This is used when we want to show that an incident took place before another incident in the past and that particular incident was continuous.
