It ends the pregnancy by removing the foetus and embryos before it can survive outside the uterus.<\/p>\n<p>\t\t\t<strong>TYPES OF ABORTION.<br \/>\n<\/strong> 1. <strong>INDUCED ABORTION<\/strong>: This is the intentional decision of a woman to end the pregnancy through surgery or by taking medicine.<br \/>\n2<strong>. SPONTANEOUS \/ MISCARRIAGE ABORTION<\/strong>: This is when abortion happens naturally on its own without induction.<\/p>\n<p>\t\t\t<strong>REASON FOR ABORTION.<\/strong><br \/>\n\t\t1. Birth control contraceptive failure<br \/>\n2. Inability to support or care for a child.<br \/>\n3. Unwanted pregnancy.<br \/>\n4. to prevent the birth of a child with birth defect.<br \/>\n5. pregnancy developed as a result of rape or incest.<br \/>\n6. Health problem that may endanger the woman life.<br \/>\n7. Fear of expulsion from school\/fear of parent.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<br \/>\n\t\t\t<strong>CONSEQUENCE OF UNSAFE ABORTION.<br \/>\n<\/strong>1. Incomplete abortion may lead to hemorrhage, cramps and pain in the pelvics and protracted bleeding for more than 3 weeks.<br \/>\n2. Infection my rise as a result of the use of unsterilized instrument.<br \/>\n3. It may lead to perforation of the uterus.<br \/>\n4. It may lead to secondary sterility.<br \/>\n5. Feeling of guilt and shame<br \/>\n6. It may lead to frequent miscarriage and premature birth<br \/>\n 7. It may lead to physical trauma before and after the abortion.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<br \/>\n\t\t\t<strong>WAYS OF PREVENTING ABORTION.<br \/>\n<\/strong>A. Having proper sex education.<br \/>\nB.
