It is also the means of exchanging information or message among the people in the society.<br \/>\n<strong>METHODS OF COMMUNICATION:<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>\n<div>Traditional method\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div>Modern method.\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>TRADITIONAL METHOD OF COMMUNICATION:<\/strong> People in different societies in Nigeria communicate through any of the following means:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>\n<div>Drum i.e. talking drum\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div>Use of town crier\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div>The use of gun shots\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div>Use of objects of symbol\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div>Use of Gong and flute\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>\u00a0<strong>MODERN METHODS OF COMMUNICATION<br \/>\n<\/strong>1.<strong>NEWSPAPER\/MAGAZINE: <\/strong> The punch, the guardian, the nation and many others. The weekly news magazine in Nigeria, include Tell, The News etc.<br \/>\n2. <strong>THE TELEPHONE:<\/strong> Telephone was invented by Alexandra G. Bell. It is one of the modern ways of communication. The use of mobile phone is very popular in our modern days. Among the service providers in Nigeria are: Airtel, MTN, Globacom, Starcom, Etisalat etc.<br \/>\n3. <strong>RADIO: <\/strong> Radio is the most popular and the fastest means of sending messages to large number of people in a country Nigeria station apart from federal radio cooperation of Nigeria station. Various states and many individual also have Radio stations among such radio stations are Raypower radio, Lagos radio, WAZOBIA plus radio, Radio continental, Gateway radio etc.<br \/>\n4.<strong>POSTAL SYSTEM: <\/strong> E.g. NIPOST, DHL, UPS and so on. This is done by writing letter and sending it to the postal agencies. However, sending letter through post offices becoming unpopular in Nigeria because of the other better means such as E-mail, Landline and global system of mobile tele communication (GSM).<br \/>\n5. <strong>THE INTERNET:<\/strong> Internet comprises of inter connected computer network.
