There is no vibration of the vocal cord as \/s\/ is produced. It is therefore, a voiceless, plosive, alveolar. THE COLON (:) &#8211;  It is used for introducing quotation, lists etc. Examples: Baba said: &#8220;People who are well, do not need a doctor but only those who are sick.<br \/>\n5. THE SEMI COLON (;) \u2013 It is used between two closely joined principal clauses.
