It is used to record all cash received and paid out by the organizations.<br \/>\nThe cash of a business constitutes cash in hand and cash bank.<br \/>\nThere are three types of cash book<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Single column \/ one column cash book\n<\/li>\n<li>Double column \/ two column cash book\n<\/li>\n<li>Three column cash book\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>SINGLE COLUMN\/ONE COLUMN CASH BOOK<br \/>\n<\/strong>This cash book takes care of cash only. It is used to record cash received and cash payment.<br \/>\nIt is called single column cash book because it has only cash in both debit and credit sides.<br
